HENDERSON, Nev. (February 6, 2026) – USA Gymnastics announced Friday updates to the international roster for the 2026 American Cup held March 7 in suburban Las Vegas. The update sees the addition of two Olympians to the Spanish team and a reorder of Great Britain’s lineup. Friday’s update brings the current number of Olympians to compete in American Cup to 13, with World Championships competitors now at 24.
Set to represent Spain on the men’s side in Nevada are Olympians Nicolau Mir and Joel Plata. Two-time Olympian Mir and 2024 Olympian Plata are each six-time World Championship team members and will join Alba Petisco and Marina Escudero on the Spanish team.
Following the initial roster announcement, Great Britain reordered their women’s team for the competition in early March. Joining Abigail Martin at American Cup will be 2021 World Championships team member Ruby Stacey and Emily Roper, who competed at several World Gymnastics events throughout the 2025 season.
Final rosters for all participating countries are subject to change. The U.S. team will be selected following the 2026 Winter Cup February 21-22 in Louisville, Kentucky.
