Three Olympians highlight six-person 2026 American Cup roster for U.S.

HENDERSON, Nevada. (February 23, 2026) – Three Olympians, including one gold medalist and one bronze medalist, comprise the U.S. delegation that will face seven of the world’s top gymnastics teams at the 2026 American Cup, March 7 in Henderson, Nevada.

The three-woman, three-man mixed team is headed by 2024 Olympic women’s team gold medalist Hezly Rivera, 2024 men’s team bronze medalist Asher Hong, and 2020 Olympian Yul Moldauer. Joining the veterans are second-year seniors Claire Pease and Danila Leykin, and first-year senior Charleigh Bullock.

USA Gymnastics named the roster following the 2026 Winter Cup over the weekend in Louisville, where Rivera won the women’s all-around, floor exercise and balance beam titles; Bullock took uneven bars; and Pease won vault. Moldauer placed second in the men’s all-around in his first competition since the 2024 Olympic Trials; and Leykin won horizontal bar. Hong and Rivera are also the defending U.S. all-around champions.

With the announcement of the U.S. team, more than 40 athletes, including 12 Olympians, are slated to compete at American Cup. Eight countries will vie for international honors at Lee’s Family Forum, giving fans the opportunity to see a preview of the mixed team competition to debut at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, California.
